About Us

Horse Lease Connection is a website designed for horse owners, stables and riders to find others who are interested in leasing a horse, leasing a stable/stalls and riders who would like to lease a horse for riding. Horse Lease Connection has streamlined the process of the horse/stable/rider search to an easy online search by zip code. There is no charge to sign up, only to contact the other party. The current monthly subscription price is $9.95 which allows unlimited email to other members.

Why Lease?

Leasing offers benefits to both the rider and the horse owner. For the horse owner, added income from the rider can help in paying for the horses care, food and shelter. For the busy horse owner, leasing their horse will allow for additional horse exercise.

For the rider, leasing will provide a lower cost alternative to owning a horse. Riders can gain experience of riding, care, and horsemanship without having the responsibilities of owning a horse. Previously riders interested in leasing a horse could only find available horses to lease by word or mouth, or cold calls to stables. Since stable owners may not be aware of the horse owners desire to lease, riders did not have a way to communicate to these interested owners. Stable owners can also lease vacant stalls to horse owners who are looking for a place to board their horses.

Horse Lease connection allows individuals to easily identify horse, stable or riding matches, and communicate them.

How It Works

Sign up for a free listing to feature your horse, stable or yourself if you are a rider. You are able to search for available horses, stables or riders. Once you have found a match you can send a message on our secure network.

If you are a horse owner you will create an account and answer questions regarding your horse and preferences. If you are a rider you will create an account and answer questions regarding your riding experiences and the horse you are looking to ride. If you own a stable you will create an account with your boarding options. Your information will be stored in our secure database to show as a search result to others looking to do business with you.

Once the rider and horse owner have communicated it is each their individual responsibility to set up riding agreements. This meeting is at rider/owners own risk and standard contracts and riding waivers should be considered at this time. All precautions and safety measures must be considered with the meeting and riding of the horse. You should also conduct a thorough stable inspection if you will be boarding your horse.
